Should I trade in my 2017 Mazda 3 for a truck?

Hi…I live in Canada and currently drive a 2017 Mazda 3 GS Sport HB…I really love this car and have had no problems with it as of yet…but because of the climate we get up here, I often get stuck or slip and slide in the snow…even with winter tires…I was considering trading my car in for a used truck— a 2015-2016 GMC Sierra 1500…can anyone offer me any advice? Are these good quality trucks? Am I better off hanging onto my car because of the good gas mileage? My car currently has @42,000 mi…so I’m also hesitant in trading it for a truck with higher mileage…please help me decide! Thankyou to anyone who answers this!

No. The engines are no good, and pickups get crap traction, and crap economy anyway.

Unless you're haulin hay bales, get an AWD SUV or wagon

If you really need AWD, sell your car and get a Subaru or a Toyota with AWD. Trading is not a good idea and as @mmj mentioned, the truck is not a good option for you.
