Between the Mazda CX-5, Acura RDX, and Infiniti QX50, which of these cars is the best overall.
New or used?
New 2022 models
Mazda CX-5
It's a strong contender.
But only with a SkyActive-G naturally aspirated engine.
Preferably one without cylinder deactivation.
Acura RDX
The previous generation was good - even better than Mazda.
The new one has a questionable turbocharged engine and an unknown transmission.
Infiniti QX50
The previous generation was alright.
It was one of the last good Nissans, 150k miles is doable.
The new one's trash.
Id go CX5 or RDX, not the QX50. So it now depends on what you want.
The CX5 costs a good bit less depending on what options you spec out, better mpg, and probably wont be as luxurious on the inside.
The RDX will have more power and probably be a better handling vehicle too, giving a better driving experience and will feel more like a luxury car.
As far as quality, I like what ive seen from mazdas over the recent years, and honda was on top for awhile, but has thrown up a red flag or two recently from what ive seen. Theyre in the same ballpark atleast.
Id test drive those two and see whats a better fit for you.
