Hello, I have a 2013 Kia Optima sxl..Someone stole my key fob so I called a locksmith to program another fob and his computer wouldn’t read my car..I took it to the dealership and they had the same problem..They told me some wires were burnt and fuses were blown..That got fixed and no one computer is still not able to communicate with my car to program another key fob.

Unfortunately, few people in the "mechanic"/"technician" pay grade are skilled/knowledgeable enough to diagnose complex modern cars. Keep trying.
