Okay I have a 98 Honda Civic EX that I recently put a b20 from a Honda CRV into it when I start the car without me pushing the gas or anything it revs up to about 6,000 RPMs and doesn't lower I've replaced the map sensor I've replaced the throttle position sensor I don't know what the problem could be any ideas or suggestions greatly be appreciated
what's a b20?
I think he means this - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_B_engine
A b20 is the type of block that the motor is there is b16-b18- b20 witch comes in the Honda CR-V but I put it in my 98 civic
Unfortunately when you put a different engine in a car sensors are different software is different it could just be a problem you may not be able to fix of course look for vacuum leaks and clean the throttle then pray it's not some type of software incompatibility or sensor incompatibility
