Hey Scotty,
Really big fan of the channel. I have a 2014 Chevy Cruize Diesel 2.0T. 200K miles That is running cool. It get to its operation temperature with regular driving  but the gauge slowly fluctuate down towards the C after driving for awhile . It only happens sometimes I never seen this before , I’m thinking it’s the temperature sensor but want to here your thoughts.

The only way to confirm if the coolant temperature sensor is bad is to look at some live data with a scanner. If you change it without doing that you face the risk of changing parts without the appropriate diagnosis.

Are you referring to the temperature sensor or the temperature sending unit?  They are two different things.
