Car slipping issue toyota innova diesel
Hi Skotty. First of all I just wanna say thank you for the helpful videos in youtube. It really helped me understand cars a bit and what to be mindful of to maintain the car.
Now to my question. My fathers car is a 2014 toyota innova, manual with 50k mileage. This thing has been running smooth but i just noticed as of late that the car is kinda slipping especially when going uphill or using 2nd gear from stop. There is some noise also coming from the engine bay when releasing the clutch and it feels like the car doesn't respond properly unless i immediately remove my foot of the clutch.
Could this be a clutch pad issue or do i need to replace the machines (i dont know the term) that holds the belts inside the engine compartment?
Thanks,
- Josh
It needs a new clutch.
Noted sir. Will have it checked. Thank you.
