I have a 2008 dodge avenger 180K that recently started smoking after it warms up but it's only when i'm parked or at a light. It drives well and it's not overheating. Thanks
If the smoke is black, it's running too rich. If it's blue, you're burning oil. If it's white, your about to blow the head gasket.
Hold an intervention for your car.
Make it understand why smoking is bad for itself, and for its owner..
My best bet could be your valve cover gasket(s). I have that going on with my 4Runner as it has smoke coming when I start it up but doesn't overheat. Just throwing this out there, good luck
Good call @seabass96
was right I took it in and they said leaking valve cover gasket thanks guys
Thanks doc
this could also be because of the motor oil, fuel, transmission fluid, coolant, or even condensation
