Car stalls at Idle

Hello everyone

I have a Chevrolet Lacetti 1.8 Petrol auto (UK RHD car).

On Monday and today(Tuesday) the car stalled three times while at idle, when I came to a stop at junctions..Before it stalled, the revs where as low as 500RPM not the usual 850RPM.

Now my Dad filled the car up with supermarket fuel on the Saturday, he drove it to work Sunday with no issues. This is the first time it has ever stalled on me.

Could it be bad fuel from the supermarket and should get some Shell petrol to sort it out. No engine light either.

The car has 60580 miles on it.

Thanks, Lawrence

Clean or replace the MAP sensor.

maybe your mass air flow sensor needs cleaning.

only use proper mass air flow cleaner.

I don't have Mass Air Flow sensor on my car, I checked the parts catalog, I have something called a Manifold Air Pressure senor. Could it be a Idle Air Control Valve?
