Few days ago my friend drove my car through a puddle. Sometime after that it stalled when he was driving and won't start again. After getting tolled to a mechenic and parked there for a couple of days it started without doing anything. I drove home with no problems. 10 miles and stopped here and there a couple of times and nothing happened. Then When i drove the next time it stalled again after about 700 meters.
I don’t know your exact problem. I wanted to share a problem I had when my car was intermittently stalling.
it had a hard time starting occasionally.
it would lose electrical power and mechanical power spontaneously come back on while driving.
So I figured it was something electrical
it turned out to be a loose negative battery terminal.
Solution: I shimmed it with copper wire per Scotty’s advice
This was for a 1999 Honda Accord.
This may or may not be your problem, but the check is so simple. Simply and safely try to jiggle the terminal wire of the battery. If there is any play, it’s loose, and could use tightening or shimming. And would most likely solve your problem.
If it is not loose, then it is something else
Thank you so much for the share.
My friend was trying figure out why.
He said he tested that he power connection was all tight.
Now I have taken the computer “ECU” out and trying to change one to see whether it solves that problem.
