The car switches off when slowing down and only does so when the VVT sensor harness connector is plugged in. When the Harness connector is not plugged in it performs normally but with an increase in fuel consumption. Recently bought a new VVT sensor including the harness connector but there are no changes.

Well obviously the vVT system is breaking down which is generally a very expensive repair. Let it guys just leave it unplugged and drive it that way rather than spend thousands
