hi scotty,i live in europe and i have a skoda fabia 2002 hatchback manual with 137.000 kilometers.
the problem started being more serious 5 or 6 weeks before and it happens only when the car stays for hours without driving it.
in the begining when i started it it shut down if i didnt waited for 3-4 min before driving it,
later when i did all that it started losing power for 2-3 times in the begining of every drive, and now it takes 2-3 or 4 times to start the car and sometimes it even shouts down 1 or 2 times.do you think it could be the fuel pump?im asking because when i drive it for a few minutes there is no probem at all after..
thank you in advance
My best guess is the fuel pump is on its way out, try replacing it and if that doesn't work then I dont know what will.
thank you for your answer but it doesnt help the at all..if i were to guess i might replace 10 parts and end up spending thousands of money o dont have.
so its better to ask someone like scotty or a moderator tha his job is fixing cars..
i know there are many people asking questions but can someone who might know give me an answer please?
thank you
