I am looking at buying a 95 celica that has 160k miles on it. It has a 2.2 L but it’s a Manual transmission. Haven’t went to look at it yet but what are your thoughts on the 2.2 L since it’s not the 1.8L?

What is the price? Private party or dealership?

They’re asking 4995 at a used car dealership

Even though it has a manual transmission, pass on it because I would not pay that much money for a 27 year old car.

Used car dealerships are frequently even worse than new car dealerships when it comes to lying and ripping people off. $5000 for a nearly 30-year-old car? I'd run away screaming from that deal.

Not for that kinda money

You might want to pay attention to the 5 digit plus tenths odometer.  For a nearly 30 year old car, the mileage is probably actually 260,000 miles.  You're just taking the seller's word for it when they say 160,000 miles.  $5K from a dealership for a car when they're lying about the mileage?  NO WAY.
