Any tips on replacing a broken dipstick tube on the triton engines? There's about 3-4" of it left protruding from the exhaust manifold, mounting bolt was snapped off in the block when who or what caused it to disappear did its thing.
I'm trying to avoid going the pan route not only because I'd have to drop the front axle but judging by the looks of the bolts they're going to break off in the block much like the manifold ones love to do.

PB Blaster will be your good friend. If you can, put a propane torch to it to see if it helps loosen it up.
Any ideas on leverage?
I've been nuking it with penetrating oil for a couple weeks in the hope that it might just pop out on its own instead of using undersized vice grips.
