Hi Scotty,
I have a 03 Toyota v6 auto Tacoma Prerunner which was sitting for 2 1/2 because of health problems. Besides changing all fluids/plugs/belts/filters/battery, should I drop the fuel tank which is 3/4 full? all hghway 233,000 miles.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Dan
Yes
I have never heard of Toyota's fuel system cleaner. I'll look that up now. Thanks

Sorry G.T., I am new to this.
It's OK.
If it were mine, I would drain the tank and remove the spark plugs and squirt some PB Blaster or WD40 into the cylinders, plus what you said.
Thanks Doc, I will spray a little PB Blaster in the cylinders.
Probably you would be checking the condition of the brake system components when you flush the brake fluid, especially to make sure that the calipers are not sticking. And check the condition of the tires for cracks or any other deterioration having sat that long.
PS: @Dan453 Glad you are feeling better!
Thanks Avalon04, I will be flushing and checking the brakes. I just picked up new tires, even though only one showed a slight cracking. Thank you I am feeling 100% better.
Good to know about your improved health and the new tires. I hope you get many more years and miles of service from your Tacoma.
Forgot to post mileage, all hghway 233,000 miles.
