The car is a 1997 Nissan Maxima GXE with automatic transmission with 124k miles. My father has been working on getting the reverse to work. He has completely replaced the transmission, also has replaced the whole solenoid pack for the transmission. As well as replaced the neutral reverse switch. It only goes into reverse when cold when first started, but when the engine warms up it can no longer go into reverse.
