Car Won't Start

I drive a 2011 Nissan Versa, 265000 miles, automatic. I've been having trouble starting the car for the past several weeks. I DoorDash for work. Of course the constant on-and-off contributes to it. About a week ago, the car wouldn't start at all. A mobile  mechanic got the car running again. He said that the starter is fine but when he put the car on a scanner, the park/neutral switch came up. this particular mechanic didn't have experience with such things so he encouraged me to seek help elsewhere. The car ran for about a week, during which I had another mechanic look at the car. He said that my starter "isn't bad but has a spot in it that the ignition switch has to catch to start. I don't know how long the switch and catch will continue so, I suggest you let us replace the starter."  That didn't sound right to me, so I didn't go with that. last week the car totally wouldn't start again. I just paid a totally different mechanic $350 to get it started. He said that the starter is fine, the whole issue was electrical. It ran fine all day yesterday, but won't start today. Don't want to take the car back to any of those mechanics. Please help. I use my car for income. The more it sits, the longer I starve

If a code for the park/neutral switch came up, you should have it replaced. That switch will prevent the car from starting if it's faulty

Install a new neutral safety switch. Advance Auto - #J40502552990ES - $42.80.
