Do motorcycles engines accumulate carbon, sludge, and blowby just like cars?

They will if you don't change the oil, the air filter, etc. "Older" bikes - air cooled, with carburetors instead of fuel injection actually often had major problems with carbon and sludge, as the engines ran hotter and often did not have oil filters.

Most often, the problem is total lack of maintenance and/or letting it sit so the tank rusts, fuel deteriorates, etc.

What kind of bike are you talking about?
