Scotty what happens to cars that are manufactured in 2021 year that are not sold until 2022?
here in Mass we pay excise tax based on the year of the car. So will the state lose money as the car would be a year old before it is actually sold. I can't see how they can say it could be called a 2022 because it was sold in 2022. it would seem that the vin would all say the year manufactured. Would all 2021 vehicles made that year be considered 1 year old. what's your take?

it's model year, not manufacture year.
