Scotty,
I didn't agree with cash for clunkers and thought it was a scam. We lost lots of great old cars and parts. What your opinion.

Cash for clunkers was the dumbest thing to ever take place. Waste of tax payer money. Waste of time. Waste cars.

A total waste. I refused to take part in it back then (I kept my old "clunkers") and I would refuse again if such a program were to be brought back.

I remember Germany had similar program to help their car industry about a decade and half ago when the economy crisis broke out. People were then bringing decent old cars to destruction just to get new ones cheaper.
