I have a 2017 Toyota Pruis V, should I install a cat security or cat strap to protect my Catalytic converter due to the recent rise of stolen Catalytic converter?
Guess it all depends on where you live here in Tennessee nobody's really stealing them but if they steal them in your area go ahead
I live in California, I guess is not a big market for Catalytic converter!

There really no way to stop thieves from stealing the cat if they want it. My anti theft device is a 9mm semi automatic and a locked garage.
If they steal it, they steal it. Your vehicle insurance should cover it actually. My aunt's catalyst got stolen, and the insurance paid $4k but they basically "totalled out" the car...
Guess the insurance cost will increase next year!
