Should I use lacquer thinner to clean my S10’s cat?

Will the lacquer thinner work running through a spider injector on a 2002 s-10 4.3L, or will it mess with the spider injection being how sensitive they are?

Putting anything other gasoline in an engine is a bad idea. Worn catalytic converters are almost always a symptom, not the cause. They're self-cleaning, if your engine is running properly. I have a 1999 Ranger with 291k miles and it's still on the original converters. Is your Check Engine Light on? If so, you have codes stored in the computer. If I remember correctly, Scotty was saying if you want to put the converter itself in lacquer thinner, that's fine, not putting it in your gas tank.
