Squeaky noise

My infiniti ex35 2008 AWD started making squeaking noise when I start driving. Doesnt squeak when in Park but starts as soon as I start driving. And it seems to get louder. Seems to come from the left front tire side. After checking the driver front side tire I see the axle shaft had a broken rubber. Would that be it to replace? Other side rubber seemed fine. If I d o need to replace the axle shaft should i replace both or just the damaged one?

Whether or not that axle is the source of the noise it needs to be replaced. No need to replace the other front axle if it's still good.

no, if it doesn't clunk it could still last quite some time. If the axle starts making noise (they clunk and click when you turn) then replace it. I'm sure Scotty has videos about it.

So the squeaky noise is not coming from the axle?

I'm just a guy on the internet. I've never seen or driven your car. I haven't inspected it up close. Nothing. All I have to go on is your brief description. So I can't say anything with a great certainty. But axles typically don't squeak.
.
And that's not to say this is any less serious than an axle. Bearings are a pretty critical component of your car.

.

anyway it's easy enough for you to check. Just jack it up and spin the wheel around.
