Went Toyota for the first time. Bought a 2022 Camry Hybrid. The headlight goes out whenever the car gets wet but comes back on when it dries out.
Dealership wants $2400.00 to replace a headlight that is still working when dry. I think it's a bad seal or some sort of electrical problem. How do I track it down?
Also are these headlight assemblies just about stealing money from consumers? That price is crazy. My 2015 Chrysler 200 is a $10 bulb replacement. Crazy!

why? Doesn't a 1 year old car still have warranty?

Take a very small drill and drill a tiny hole in the lowest point of the headlight, or try looking at aftermarket headlights. Are there any codes?
