Vibration on Acceleration.....bent axle?

Hey Scotty! I have a 2008 Corolla with 177k miles with a vibration during acceleration, so I lifted the front end to check the drivetrain.

I checked the axle joints, and the ends that go to the wheels look smooth while spinning, except for the ones on the transmission (both sides):

I don't think bending is the source of your vibration. First of all, how would your axle suddenly bend without you knowing. Second, it would vibrate all the time. The CV joints could be worn out though.

Where do you feel the vibration coming from? Your seat, or your steering wheel?

Other things to check for wear:  motor mounts, transmission, steering alignment
