Catalytic converter sensor

Hi Scotty.
 I own a 2009 Subaru B4,  175k km, automatic transmission.

I had the check engine light turn on. I took it to a garage and after hooking it up to the computer it says it is a fault in a sensor of the catalytic converter which goes to the muffler. This Subaru has 2 mufflers so it has 2 of these sensors and there was a fault in one of them.
The guy replaced it and it worked but a couple of months later it went on again. There is no difference in driving however. the car still runs and shifts well. At the yearly inspection the car even passed the air pollution test but the check engine light is still on.

I took it to another garage and he also hooked it up to the computer and the same error appeared. He said it's the same sensor that is malfunctioning but I already replaced that one.

What do you think it is?

What's the code?

i didn't get the code

Was an OEM sensor installed or an aftermarket Chinese knockoff?

the guy said he installed an OEM part

He probably lied, or the 02 sensor was manufactured on a Friday afternoon.  Look on your receipt and see if it shows the name and part number for the replaced 02 sensor and let us know.  Thanks.
