I'm looking at buying a Honda Fit, either the 2019 or 2020 model. They all seem to come with a Honda 1.5L 4-cylinder engine. I know that some Hondas with 1.5L 4 cyl turbocharged engines had oil dilution problems. Does that apply to the 2019/2020 Honda Fit engines or not?
Are there any other issues to look out for?
Thanks!

- Random misfires, if runs lean it's the injectors, if it's rich it's carbon built-up on intake valves.
- Some A/C issues with leaks and the blower motor.
- SRS fault lights for "internal computer issue"
- The HRV CVT had a lot of issues, but it doesn't seem to affect the Fit, yet.
Personally I think that a Toyota Yaris (Mazda2) would be a better choice.

I think it’s a great car in every way, it’s also in my shortlist among others.
I like yaris too but i find it so cheaply made and kind of boring it’s getting annoying. I drive a small Toyota aygo now. Very fun in the city but that’s all.
