I've been reading about electric car "miracle batteries" that are "just around the corner" for over 60 years. (Remember the 1960s Ford sodium-sulfer battery?) It's a long, long way from concept to lab to market, and then discovering what problems there might be in mass production and deployment in real-world conditions.

Don't believe everything that you see on youtube. Even if this one turns out to be as claimed (and one has to retain a healthy level of skepticism) there is still the problem that the power grid cannot support mass adoption of electric vehicles without trillions of dollars in upgrades.
