Hey everyone! My dad has a 2007 Lexus LS 460 with 85,000 mi that has the Christmas lights on. We took it to the dealer and on top of the other junk they wanted to sell to us (tpms battery, a/c refresh, lower control arm, etc) they wanted to replace the Steering Angel Sensor for $1074.12. When I got home I saw how much the part was and according to the Official parts website ( https://parts.lexus.com/p/Lexus__LS-460/Steering-Wheel-Position-Sensor/62985724/8924552030.html) the part is about $400. My question is is this really that long of a job that you need to pay $674.12 in labor. As always thanks for the responses!
Oh they're just a rip off. It's not that big of a deal. It does have to be reprogrammed but go to some private mechanics. I'll do it for tons less than that
