I purchased a 2005 Dodge ram rumble bee. It has 62000 miles, 5.8 l engine with automatic transmission. Should I change the transmission fluid?
Clarification: What is the condition of the fluid? (I.e. color, smell burnt, any metallic particles embedded). Also, any issues with shifting?

@ 62k mi unless the previous owner(s) just worked that transmission like a dog it should be fine to do a drain/fill, filter and gasket change.
