I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse premium V6. I cant get it to register on the Micro Mechanic or on another plug in to read my engine codes. It just says error. It used to read the codes when I last checked them over a month ago. What can I do?

That's typically what happens when either the OBD-II port goes bad or the ECU needs replacement.
