Is it possible to disable the check engine light so it will not come on when there is a code?
I took my car it to get some work done, they reset the check engine light.
Now the light does not come on when I get a code with my carscan- code reader. The light come on when I turn the ignition switch, so the bulb is good.

you cant disable check engine light, i dont reccomend that
The codes that you're getting on the scantool may be pending if the check engine light is not illuminated. Pending codes are issues that the ECU detected, but have not occurred enough times to confirm it. Only confirmed codes will illuminate the check engine light.
Mot sure I understand ... but u get a code on the scanner but the check engine light does not come on ?
It depends on the code you are getting on the scanner and if it meets the condition of the check engine light

The codes I am getting turn the light before, codes 300, 304, 307
