Hello All.

Do you think Scotty will have something to say about this list of most reliable cars?

Nothing new here. Scotty has talked about it many times before.

It's the usual circle jerk between auto makers, and paid reviewers and marketing agencies (who call themselves "car ratings").

I mean Dodge and Kia tied in 1st place for reliability. It can't get any funnier that that! 😆

I read as far as "J.D. Power" and busted out laughing. How can anyone possibly take the pronouncements of a marketing company seriously?

The best cars are “survivors”. Sometimes the make and model of a survivor comes as a surprise. Sometimes the ones you would think should be bulletproof end up being oil burning transmission clunking junk wagons

Agreed, I always laugh when I see a brand new car, and people claiming it is super reliable. Talk is cheap, let's see how they do 10-15 years and 200k miles from now.

“Using data from J.D. Power and Associates……” followed by Scotty laugh.  You can also do a search on this forum - been talked about many times.

Lol, don't trust these advertising companies. All the companies they listed make a lot of JUNK.

Hey if you count having power train problems as non-issue maybe you too would believe it. Personally I find consumer reports to be far more reliable. I have never seen a Toyota on the side of the road, ive seen a few dozen Chevys, many ford's (mostly focuses) no Mitsubishis (but they're junk still) kia's are something I see once in awhile, and I've seen many Chryslers.
