2014 Chevy Cruze turbodiesel opinions

I'm looking at a 2014 Chevy cruize with a 6spd manual and a turbo diesel engine at the chevy dealer. I like the fuel economy they have while also being quick cars. This one has 65k miles. What warning signs should I look for. I want the car but don't want a moneypit. What are your thoughts?

PASS. The Cruze is a terrible car and the quality is abysmal. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for something else. Those cars truly do fall apart as they age.

The diesel Cruze was much better especially with the manual. Having said that, the car is still a GM product.

Since the car is still relatively low mileage, I’d have it thoroughly inspected first, by a professional diesel mechanic, and then take it from there.

No matter what, don’t pay much because it’s worth nothing.

Check the clutch to see if it needs replacing, if it’s still on the original one.

If the turbo is bad or the engine is worn out, just run..
