Hello, I have some play where my CV axle meets the transmission it's lateral movement. I can feel it clunk when letting getting off the gas and back now on. Or shifting into gear, anytime a load is let off or put on the transmission rapidly. I've attached a video on of the play, if anyone has a fix for this or even know what it is your help would be highly appreciated.

I think you mean axial movement, and some amount is normal. Was the play not there earlier?

You can pull out the axle and check the splines to see if there's wear, but most likely it's coming from inside the transmission.

just watched this back, you can't really see the up and down movement, but it is like the bearing or bushing that the cv axle rides, just inside the transmission is shot and allowing it clunk when rapidly accelerating and decelerating.

you could be right. Just go easy on her and maybe you'll get to 200k
