Hey Scotty I just purchased a 2016 Toyota RAV4 with 62,000 miles, I noticed while driving around 80 mph on the highway The RPM stays around 4000 for about a minute or longer before it shifts. usually I have to give it more gas in order for it to shift, is this something I need to be concerned about?

Yes. There's a problem with the transmission.

Take it in to the dealer ASAP. IIRC, depending when you bought your Toyota, Toyota now comes with a 7 year / 100,000 mile warranty on the Power Train.

If it is hanging like that, you have an issue you want to get addressed ASAP. Take it in to the dealer and see what they say.
