Chevy express reliability?

Ever since ford discontinued its e series vans, I've been hesitant about the transits. But Chevy express has stuck around and I've heard good things about their reliability. Any thoughts about that? Im thinking of getting a Chevy express cutaway and putting a box on it

I can personally vouch for the Express/Savana 👍 Solid platform. No AFM rubbish.

Just get 2012 or newer, or avoid white color. There were paint problems. And don't get a 4.8L

I still see Ford E-Series vans for 2021.

@jimz
Your thinking of the ford transit. Their inferior quality vans. They discontinued their econoline vans in 2014. The only econolines the continued were their cutaways 2015 and onward

It says E-Series......

Didn't you say get a cut away and add a box?

@jimz
The e in e series stands for econoline. They still exist but they discontinued the vans, (check the wiki). Only the cutaways. I need something on that chassey. Maybe a box

There are many boxes available.  They come from width of van to eight foot wide and different lengths.  I want the Ford E350, 16ft box, with power lift.  Trying to convince wife to give me my allowance.

My son has a 6.0 and gets 22 MPG on highway.  I told him my Ford got 18 and he was surprised since my Ford is newer than he Chevy.

I like the Chevy long wheelbase.  Lots of room.
