How reliable are the newer ford econoline-series cutaways? I'm thinking about getting one and putting a box on it. Maybe a 2016 model or a newer 2020/2021 model
IThe reliability data for news models do not exist now. Maybe in next couple of years. About the older ones, I think they are ok cars but here is a question for you: what’s your intent and what other options you have?
@yaser my other options can only be 2016 and newer. And they are ford transit hightop extended cargo vans, chevy express cutaway, Mercedes sprinters, ram promaster hightop extended, thats it. It either had to be the largest cargo van or the smallest box truck that is rated under 10,000 ibs gvw
Amongst these, I think the Fords are better choices. You should check them to see which one fits your needs more. After you decide, as for every used car, ask a professional mechanic to check it out.
