How long will a 2014 Chevy Impala LTZ Limited last?

How many miles does it have on it now? Will future mileage be city, suburban or highway miles? How well are you maintaining it?

All these things are probably more important than the make/model - you can ruin any car in 60K miles, and get almost any car to go 150k miles, depending on your answers to those questions.

It has 86,000 miles on it right now.

I wouldn't keep it past 150,000 mi or 8 years.

You didn’t say the mileage on yours.  On carcomplaints.com the most issues reported so far for 2014 MY are electrical and brake issues:  that’s not meant to be comprehensive but a glimpse into issues

GM not known for their electronics’ reliability so doesn’t surprise me.

If you are going to continue keeping it, just stay on top of the engine and transmission oil changes and don’t it drive too hard and you might get more life out of it.

This engine has issues with the timing chain, if you buy it stick to changing the oil every 3k miles even with synthetic motor oil.

Look on the emissions sticker under the hood, if it’s say PZEV i might buy it.

Report back with your findings.....

My mom owns a 2014 Chevy Impala LTZ Limited with 86,000 miles on it that is why I'm asking this question.

She has the 300+ horse power version, which is a powerful engine.

I have 2008 with the 3.5 and 198,000 miles.

like I said before change the oil every 3000 miles using synthetic motor oil and you

should be fine. If your mechanically inclined, it’s a very easy

 vehicle to repair.
