Is a 2003 chevy malibu for $1200, 122,000 miles on it a good deal?

Those Malibus aren’t really worth anything. If it still runs and drives good, then yeah you got a decent deal. For a car like that, don’t put much money into it at all. You can use it as a beater or commuter car and it will be very cheap to use as a daily. But once something expensive breaks, it’s best to junk the thing instead of putting money into it.
