I’m looking for the most reliable Chevy Silverado 1500 from the 2nd gen, from 09-14 which would you say is the best because I am leaning more towards 11 or 12, what do you think?

Probably none. Definitely nothing with AFM.
You're talking about post-bankruptcy GM when everything went downhill, and the 1/2 ton trucks were the worst crap.
2007 was the last time they made OK 1500s.

The 5.3L & 6.0L V8 engine use AFM
The V6, and 4.8L , 6.2L V8s do not.

Stay away from any Chevrolet Silverado made after 2007, esp. with Active Fuel Management. If you want a Silverado at least go with the 2500+ Heavy Duty. Stay away from the 1500 series.
