Chevy Spark 2014, $6900, pre-purchase inspection
I am looking to buy a used Chevy Spark 2014, but the pre-purchase inspection in the independent car care center showed that it needs steering wheel alignment, the car pulls left, and it has worn-out front wheel bearings. I tried to negotiate the price down to $5000, but the dealer suggested getting a second opinion in one specific car care center. If it shows the above-said defects, they will replace it cheaper in their car care center (the dealer owner also owns the car care center). Would you say no to this car?
Run away. The Spark is a disposable vehicle to begin with and that one has started falling apart.
What is the mileage on it currently and how many miles do you need it to last you? If you need it to last you >100,000 miles then pass on it.
I would say don't buy it.
