What the hell is wrong with my truck?!

Scotty,

I have a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Duramax Diesel 3.0 liter engine, 4 wheel drive, truck with the 10 speed transmission.  Back in July of last year while backing up the truck I thought I hit something but it was the truck's transmission.  The engine light came on and waring messages of Service Traction Control, parking break and ESC came on.  The truck was in limp mode.  I was able to turn the truck off and back on and it operated normally with the check engine light back on.  This same thing happens intermittently still today.  After waiting 4 months for parts, the dealer put some type of valve in the transmission.  When I got it back it was still not fixed.  Then the dealer took apart the wiring harness and found a pin that needed to be fixed but that did not fix the problem.  Then they called in a Chevrolet engineer and he determined that the traction control module needed to be replaced.  That did not fix the problem.  Now they have the truck back and have had it for a week still looking to find out what is wrong.  Do you have any ideas what may be wrong?  They sure the hell don't.

There isn't enough information here to give a diagnosis. All I know is that you have some trouble lights and reduced power mode (which could be hundreds of things).

Your truck need to be hooked up to a diagnostic tool and scanned.

I hope they got you a loaner truck while they work on yours. Talk to a lawyer to see if you can get return it and get another truck under the lemon law.
