As a kid my mom had a Chrysler LeBaron convertible. I want to say it was a 91 or 92. I remember adoring that car as it was so unique that my mom was the only person I knew who’s car could put the roof down. :p Now as a 20 year old, I still like these cars but haven’t personally seen one since my mom traded it for a van in 2009. I know Scotty doesn’t like Chrysler’s however I want to know other people’s take on them. Are they worth say $2,000 or less? That seems to be the going rate on marketplace for cars with under 140,000 miles. From the untrained eye they seem like good cheap summer toys.
Nope.
My family had a LeBaron convertible with all kinds of issues back when it was selling new.
I would not buy a $2000 headache myself.
Absolutely, my take is that if you can get it for around 2k and its just gonna be a summer fun car that you dont mind putting some money into as needed then go for it. As long as it isnt a daily driver forever since im assuming it will be a high mileage it should be good for ya.
