Chrysler TC by Maserati

Was the Chrysler TC (by Maserati) really that bad of a car? There is a shop where I grew up that sells stereos, speakers and more and outside the store there are 2 (yes 2) Chrysler TCs owned by the store and they both work and had zero issues and both have over 200k miles. They still have the cars and have no plans to get rid of it.

Ha that’s a bunch of BS of you ask me. When Scotty says that those cars are worse than any modern day Chrysler or Fiat, that’s really saying something about poor quality. They probably mean no issues with the second or third motor it’s currently on and no issues with the third or fourth transmission it’s currently on. I truly do not believe that car would be able to go even 100,000 miles without both the engine and tranny going. So my answer is absolutely they are possibly the worst car of all time.

My father has worked on plenty of cars from the Chrysler K car platform and he's had no bad experience from that. Plus the motor and transmission are original- they did take care of them both.

For once I would actually like to check out a Chrysler product. Maybe you should convince these guys to bring one of these cars to Tennessee so Scotty can make a video on them. If that indeed is true, those cars are a rare as can be occurrence.

I honestly don't know, they were crappy cars but calling them the worst is a bit of a stretch but it's Scotty's Opinion, I always have a feeling there is something worse. I think they are better than let's say a Yugo or a Trabant which were absolute crap.

They are junk cars. Period.

Anyone who says they got 200k out of those without repairs is not being truthful. They are notorious for issues of literally all kinds, which is one reason why a pristine example with no miles is worth nothing.

I've had customers ask for all kinds of collectible cars. I have never, ever had anyone even mention one of those.
