How long do you plan to have it? What are other options in your area?

Some basic info: https://www.whatcar.com/citroen/c5-aircross/hatchback/used-review/n20484/advice

Maybe @dan knows more.

Well, I think the Citroën might be a better deal if it was built in France, has a diesel, and a manual / an 8 speed Aisin automatic.

(am not sure on their suspension, it seems complex and I don’t know how long does it last)

Citroën’s 1.2L petrol has a very mixed reputation and I’d avoid the 1.6L gasoline hybrid like wildfire.

korean cars also aren’t too bad but avoid dual clutch transmissions like wildfire. The new generation just came out so no clue on most engines - the 2.0 MPI petrol with the 6 speed manual / automatic might be a better choice.

I wouldn’t expect any of these to last over 15 years or 200,000km if that, before requiring a lot of work.

it’s a hard choice, the best would be a RAV4 petrol with an 8 speed automatic - but out of these two, it’s a gamble.

It is tough to provide a fair opinion on the Aircross because we don’t even have them here in the US.  It’s built on the

PSA EMP2 platform.

And to my knowledge, there is no car in the US that uses this platform. All we have to go by is the reputation. Heck, in Egypt, they very well me great cars, but from the information I have about Stellantis, Peugeot, and Fiat, I much rather get a Toyota or Honda if at all possible.

Granted there may be some geographical restrictions that may prevent you or may make it more difficult to get a Toyota or a Honda.
