Civic engine cranks, shakes/rumbles, then stalls out

I drive a 2004 Honda Civic 1.7L 4 cylinder with a 4 speed automatic transmission. The car has 337,000 km (209,000 miles). The other day I drove the car for a little while and turned if off while I was waiting for someone to come outside. Once we were ready to leave, I turned the engine on and the engine was shaking the whole car. I turned it off right away and turned it on again, seemed to fix it. No shake and idled and drove fine. After that I did keep driving my car for a few days, with no noticeable issue. On the fourth day, I drove my car for over an hour, then went into a store. Once I got back out I tried turning the car on. The engine cranked, shook for about 2 seconds and stalled. It did this about three or four times, but on the fifth time it didn't stall and I gave it some gas. Once I gave it gas, it returned to normal idle and normal running conditions. So I quickly drove it home without issue. Today, it started cold no problem, drove for a while and started warm again with no problem. I checked the air filter, the spark plugs, and banged the EGR valve in case it was stuck. As of right now, the car is running fine without issue. I have not noticed any lose of power or rough idling. Side note, the first time it happened I had 3/4 of a tank of gas. The second time I had half a tank of gas.

But with that many miles a zillion things could do that so what you would start with would be make sure the spark plugs are good the fuel filters clear the air filters clear and then check for any type of vacuum leak and being a Honda many times with that age they need to fuel injectors pressure cleaned

Sounds like your cars running out of fuel at start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kb-9qLu00Q   If it starts up again try and get the car scanned if you can while it's doing it and you can see if its running lean. Check for leaks and if it gets worse have the fuel pressure tested
