Hey my mother has an automatic 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan TSI with around 172k Kilometres, it failed the evap system leak test, it has a pending code of P0304 and burns a little oil, are these things all connected or is this just Volkswagen engines doing what Volkswagen engines do? And does anyone have any repair tips?

typical for Volkswagen but she owns it it could just need an ignition coil on cylinder number four that's typical then just live with the oil burning and stuff like that it has very little resale value so she might as well just drive it until the wheels fall off it could still go quite sometime as long as you keep oil on it
