Hey scotty. My dad has a 2017 ford escape we we went to Ontario a few months ago and he revved up the engine and we got a check engine light and when we pulled over to check we heard a clicking from the engine what happened? We had a family friend check it the computer said it was something to do with the accelerator

Can you get the specfic code ?
Also can he clear it and see if it comes back ?

I don't remember the code, we had it reset and we still have the clicking sound
