In terms of the car mileage etc. it is a great choice.

Do have it checked by a mechanic you trust or know - start by putting an obd II scanner on it

if you have one.  A few dollars now will save you a lot in the long run and you will know what you are

dealing with.  I would like to see you get in the $7000-7500 range but overall at a good price if it is good.

Please note that there are two recalls.  Airbags and Windshield wipers.  Do not let this scare you it is a good thing.

Take it to the dealer and see if the car is affected and get it fixed for free.

Hope this helps some

These are very good cars but there is an issue you should be aware of if it has the 2.5 engine with automatic transmission. The transmission torque converters were poorly designed and fail prematurely. The car will develop a shudder while accelerating between 20-52 mph. If not replaced, metal from the torque converter will eventually destroy the transmission. Toyota will cover torque converter replacement if the shudder develops within 8 years from the date the car was put into use or 150000 miles, whichever comes first. A 2013 Camry is probably past the 8 years by now, maybe not. The torque converter replacement is a ten hour job requiring lowering the engine and removing the transmission. Figure at least a thousand for labor, several hundred more for parts.
