44k Power Enhancer?

I have a 2004 Honda Civic with 126,000. Oil changes done regularly with no vehicle problems. I took it in to my mechanic whom always seemed honest the few times I have used him. It was in for a check engine light, it was downstream O2 sensor. They replaced the sensor and recommended 44k Power enhancer to “hopefully help prevent cataylitic converter from going” since it is still original. They caught me at a weak moment so I said okay, but know traditionally these additives not only don’t help but cause harm. Any one know about this one? Thank you in advance.

It's ok.  Actually a fuel injector cleaner (if injectors are atomizing well then less chance for raw fuel to get to cat).  As ok, won't cause harm but to clean injectors well, a pro cleaner on the rail is much better.  But no need to worry, your good.
